YAMIB| Office Chair Care & Maintenance Guide
1. Daily Basic Maintenance
Wipe dust off the mesh surface once weekly with a soft dry cloth or low-suction vacuum with a soft brush head.
Do NOT use alcohol cleaner, bleach, abrasive powder or corrosive chemicals.
Avoid long-term direct sunlight, which will fade mesh fabric and crack plastic parts. Place the chair away from windows with strong sunshine.
Keep the chair away from heaters, radiators and humidifiers. Stable room humidity can extend the service life of mesh, sponge and metal components.
Keep sharp objects (keys, metal accessories, pet claws) away to prevent mesh tearing and surface scratches.
2. Mesh Upholstery Care
Daily Care
Vacuum mesh regularly to remove crumbs and dust, do not pull mesh hard to avoid wire breakage.
For light surface stains, blot gently with a slightly damp soft cloth; do not scrub back and forth violently.
Stain Removal
Water-based stains (coffee, drinks, water spills): Blot liquid quickly with paper towel, then wipe with diluted neutral detergent and air dry naturally.
Oil stains: Apply dedicated fabric degreasing spray following product instructions.
Stubborn tough stains: Do not use strong chemical cleaners; we suggest professional fabric cleaning service.
What to Avoid
No bleach, alcohol, solvent cleaners — they cause discoloration and mesh fiber damage.
Do not soak or heavily wet the mesh, moisture will seep into seat foam and cause odor & deformation.
3. Cushion Foam Care
Daily Care
Adjust sitting positions frequently to balance foam compression and slow down seat sagging.
What to Avoid
Do not stand, jump or stomp on the seat cushion, which leads to irreversible foam compression.
Prevent all liquid spills from soaking into the inner foam layer.
4. Metal & Plastic Adjustment Parts
Regular Inspection
Check all connecting screws every 1–2 months, tighten loose screws gently with a screwdriver.
Only use the chair on flat, level ground to protect silent casters from uneven wear.
Metal Base & Gas Lift Care
Wipe water spots on aluminum base immediately with dry cloth to avoid oxidation and rust.
Do not spray water or cleaning liquid directly onto the SGS certified gas lift cylinder.
5.Usage Recommendations
Do not exceed the official load capacity marked on the product page.
Armrests and backrest are not designed to bear standing weight or heavy side pulling force.
Do not kick casters violently or drag the chair hard across the floor.
6. Safety Tips for Kids & Pets
Supervise children while using the chair, stop climbing, jumping and rough play to avoid tipping over or collision injuries.
Pet claws easily tear mesh fabric; use a chair cover for protection if you have pets at home.
7. Long-term Storage Care
Conduct deep mesh cleaning every 6 months.
If the chair will not be used for a long time, cover it with a breathable dust cover and store in cool, dry shade.
When moving the chair, lift the whole frame instead of dragging it to prevent base deformation and caster damage.
8. Improper Maintenance Warning
The following improper operations will cause permanent damage to the chair and are NOT covered under our product warranty:

Cleaning mesh with alcohol, bleach, strong acid or alkaline detergent
- Drenching mesh fabric with large amounts of water
- Placing the chair beside heaters, air outlets or under long-term direct sunlight
- Spraying liquid cleaner directly onto gas lift, metal base and plastic adjustment parts

Standing, jumping or overloading the seat beyond weight limit
